The Guild
Various Diffrence is a guild newly formed guild that wants to go semi hardcore, wich means we raid 2 nights a week possibly 3 in cataclysm for raids we bring maxed out enchants and flasks etc for our gear.
We are a bunch of IRL friends that formed this guild under Leading from Zecane, We are always looking for dedicated players to join our ranks so post an apply and think through carefully if you are willing to play our style. Our goal is to be a solid team in cata to face the endcontents as a strong guild with motivation, and activities even outside raids. so if you think you got the ballz and skillz and dedication give us an application and we have an officer look at them after about 1 hour with a reply! Rules

1: Flasks & Enchants - Always take flasks needed with you to the raid for example if you are paladin with holy / tank specc you bring both sorts of flasks needed to complete your task, And also keep a stack of own foodbuff with you even if the guild puts down a feast.
Enchants and sockets are to be the best, Regardless your gear, If you got epic gems in your Blue items it shows your dedication and seriousness. Showing up with gimpgems in upgraded items is not OK,ask a friend if you can loan gold to buy the gems/enchants required.

2: Right spot at the right time - As the headline says, do not expect a summon. Raids are announced both time and place. So start moving to the raiding area so you are ready and prepared to pull at raidstart, Even tho you might not get picked up at first we might need you so park your char outside dungeon until raidstart.

3: Absence - Members and raiders must put a small post on raid forum or pm a officer with a reason not beeing able to show up to raid on official raiddays. This is a must for players that have raider/ member ranks, we want to know what people we can get and not. this is just an addon to the calender invites to see why ppl are gone. Even tho you havent signed you must inform officers or post forums and make sure they know this some time BEFORE raids, this is your responsebility as a raider and member of VD.

4: "Quote Illidan" YOU ARE NOT PREPARED! - As the allmighty once said, showing up to raids without even knowing how the encounter looks is a nono. What you should do is check general info regarding the bosses since we might use another tac, so you should know how the encouner looks like and what kind of abilities it has, rest will be announced from Raidleader.

5: Attendence and raidranks - This one is abit tricky, Raiders will have some prio on certain rare items over members, beeing raider means you show upp 100% on our raids wich is 2 days a week. beeing gone for 1 raid without a very good reason will demote you to member again. and you must show again over a reset or 2 that you deserve the Raider rank again. this is also a small carrot for players to show up.
